The inner and outer diameters are adjusted to the screw, mounting point, and available space in the structure. This allows the disc to be inserted exactly where a standard size would be too large, too small, or functionally unsuitable.

A backing plate does not always have to be round. Asymmetrical outer shapes, additional holes, or structural cuts can be implemented according to drawing, provided the material and manufacturing method are suitable.

Should the disc isolate, create distance, protect a surface, or conform elastically? This task determines the material, thickness, and design. Special technical characteristics are examined based on the project requirements.

Once clearly described measurements, contours and materials reduce the time required for subsequent orders. The disc is manufactured in a reproducible manner and remains comprehensible for purchasing and construction purposes.
