Washers for fastening applications

Countersink dies for fastening technology create a defined contact surface between the connecting element and the component. Ernst Lingenberg GmbH manufactures non-metallic dies for screws, nuts, nails and wire pins. Diameter, thickness, contour and material are designed to suit the load, contact area and assembly.

Distribute force, protect surfaces

Distribute force, protect surfaces

A suitable backing reduces point-load stress and can protect sensitive contact surfaces from direct marks or friction. The material, outer diameter, and thickness are selected accordingly to the load and surface conditions.

Screw, nut, nail or wire pin

Each connecting element has its own geometry and mounting situation. We manufacture discs with a matched internal dimension and contour that is required for the respective connection – from the classic ring disc to the drawing part.

  • Screw and nut connections
  • Nails and wire pins
  • Special industrial fasteners

Standard size isn't enough?

Special sizes, special material thicknesses, and different contours can be manufactured according to a drawing or pattern. Send us your measurements, material requirements, and quantity – we will consider a stamped design, a tube disc, or an individual special contour.

Targeted use of non-metallic materials

Depending on the material, a washer can have elastic properties, be insulating, gentle on the surface, or have stable shape. The choice of material should therefore not be considered in isolation from the load, environment, and assembly process.

  • Function and load of the connection
  • Inside dimensions, outside diameter and thickness
  • Surface and possible environmental influences
  • Material specification and quantity
